Order time!

I am placing an order for our fundraising t shirts. This will probably be the last order placed since we hope to travel in a few months.

We are trying really hard to push our final fundraisers to make sure we have enough money raised for travel. The price is uncertain until we actually receive our travel arrangements which could be 2 weeks to 1 month in advance.

If you don't have a shirt, please order now! They are really cute for both male and female! For just $15.00 you can have this....(pic is of back of shirt)

By the way, all the cool people are wearing them so don't miss out!!

If you'd like a shirt to help bring Natalee Grace home, email me at sarann4481@aol.com

I'm so ready!

It's been so stressful the past few weeks. To be honest I'm not sure if it's any different than my life always has been. Maybe I just think its stressful because I'm on edge. I normally can handle situations with ease and at the most after some talks about it with Jeremy or Mom. This week my mood seems angrier or a better word would be reactive. I know it all leads back to this is Day 81 and our LOA can't get here fast enough!

I'm so frustrated with myself. Ive managed to make it through several unsuccessful fertility attempts 4 years ago and we have been working on this adoption for almost 2 years. Why would I start reacting now? I have been so strong for all these years until now.

I am being very selfish so I need prayers! Please also continue to thank God for the sweet care that Natalee Grace seems to be receiving! Looking at her smile in the picture makes a momma proud!

Wow

The baby registering thing is completely overwhelming. As I'm trying to select items I look over at the children throwing fits and laying in the floor crying. I only wish I could join them.

Before scanning an item, I have 50 questions in my head. Is this too expensive? Is this safe? Is this something the parents should buy and not ask for? Most importantly, what does a 2 year old need???!!!

I have now registered at 3 locations. I am certain that I haven't selected all that I need and some selected I probably don't need. I only hope those purchasing will just know what we need!!

LOA Blues

Yep, I'm there. I told myself I wouldn't let it creep in and take over every thought. I have now consumed my whole entire calendar with the "LOA wait" days. We are on day 73 today. I am back to checking my email every time my phone buzzes. Why can't the email be there??!! Our acceptance or any update is needed right now!

I just want my daughter home!!

Well, we've waited years so what's a few more months? Am I kidding myself?! It's torture when it consumes every moment.

I guess I never dreamed that I could love someone only seen in a picture. I worry about her, daydream over her, and wonder how she'll respond to us. That's the price of parenting!

Waiting...still!

No updates :(

I wish I could say otherwise. I talked to Karla today and I did tell her that the only advantage to this long process is I don't feel stressed over time crunches! She is checking with Lily, Lifeline contact in China, to verify our status with the CCCWA.

I have been contacted by two other adopting moms from the same institute! We are sharing details that we know and info about our angels. If we don't travel together, we plan on visiting and taking pics of the others children. We were told our orphanage permits that.

Jeremy has been hard at work each night on the playset. I haven't been home to help so it's taking forever!

That's all for now!!

She's all grown up!

Last night we received an update! She weighs 23 lbs, is 31.1 inches tall, and has 10 teeth. I am amazed how much she has grown since referral pics.

You can't imagine how much joy that Jeremy and I have right now. We thank God daily for this opportunity. We cannot wait for the minute we get to meet our daughter!

Word from Karla

Yesterday I heard from Karla. She said our LOA is still in translation but expects it to be out soon. Our 90 day mark (which is the typical wait time) is July 16th so anytime before that would be fabulous!! Karla also mentioned that if she had to guess she would say weight travel in September. I have been concerned about October because of China's trade fair. The expenses are much higher and it is harder to book a room. She said not to panic and we will cross that bridge if necessary. Let's pray for September!

Praise for the day...my sweet friend Jenny got her LOA for Ella Grace today! They waited 96 long days!! So happy for them :)
