Yesterday was well extremely stressful. Actually we've had a lot of very intense "obstacles" in the past couple weeks. We had issues with our plane tickets last week. We were trying to pay using a debit card and there is a maximum amt you can charge on that per day. Needless to say only one ticket was purchased at that time. We had to shuffle around and get the rest purchased on a cc card. But we got them! We are having several other little issues but nothing we can't bounce back from. So yesterday we were all set up to wire our money to China. Jeremy had gone to our bank 3 weeks ago and asked what info we needed for this transfer. We got what we needed and it should be smooth sailing...should. It takes 48 hrs to confirm and we leave Thursday. It needs to be there by Wednesday. Should work. Right? Monday morning bank opens Jeremy enters with expectations of wiring money to China. After all it should work. Well...the teller informs him otherwise. Lets just say someone must have been "fibbing." Either the teller 3 weeks ago or yesterday. Whatever the case we went in panic mode. After several hours of inquiring, we used Mom & Dads bank and they wired the $ for us. Whew, it's on it's way...on time!
I just can't help but think about one of my favorite songs by Laura Story. In "Blessings" she mentions going through so many challenges to find your blessing. You sometimes don't even realize it. "Trials of this life are your mercies in disguise." We have been through quite a trial and also some wonderful times to get to this point. God is gifting us with the most amazing blessing of all!
Much love,
